Jajas for Justice:
Stories of Climate Change
“Jaja” – grandparent / elder
Jajas for Justice: Stories of Climate Change is an upcoming documentary sharing stories from Uganda’s elderly farmers. Floods. Droughts. Irregular seasons. Climate change threatens the livelihoods of those who have relied on the regular rhythms of nature for decades.
The Jajas featured in this film live lifestyles with a very little environmental impact, and yet they are among the most vulnerable to Climate Change.
We plan to use the power of film to amplify their voices and seek justice. Their generational wisdom offers solutions to the Climate Crisis. Our job is listen, then take action to right injustice.
